Glossy red veins snake out from the corners of the eyes and lips, raised off the skin just enough to catch the light, with crimson contacts turning the whole face into something no longer quite human. Madison Block sculpts the veins from hot glue on a silicone mat — tinting clear glue with a skin-safe petal dust “paint” — then blends the edges into the skin with lip liner, red eyeshadow, and concealer. A gentle first taste of special effects makeup, and endlessly tweakable for your own skin tone and how cursed you want to look.
