Crystal Pirate Corset
A rigid crystal corset with swirling blue-violet resin panels framed in sculpted gold filigree, built from Worbla, Thibra, and hand-tinted epoxy.

Translucent resin panels shimmer with ribbons of blue and violet, locked between Worbla and EVA foam and edged with sculpted Thibra filigree that looks like antique metalwork once it’s layered with bronze and gold paint. Tiffany Chan walks through her hard-won method for tinting, pouring, and body-molding the resin while it’s still flexible, then sandwiching it into a wearable structure. A full-day project with a dramatic payoff — and removable hand-beaded dangles that can live on in future builds.
